FACT OF THE DAY: The water balloon was invented accidentally, when Edgar Ellington was attempting to produce a waterproof sock for troops to avoid trench foot. When one of his socks sprang a leak during a test, Ellington angrily threw the sock down and was amused by the splash it created.

Kevin's been making stuff up for over 35 years, 12 of them as a part of the Austin improv community. He teaches at Merlin Works. He runs the AIC Facebook group and nightly theater listings.
