FACT OF THE DAY: Kæstur hákarl, or “treated shark,” is a national dish of Iceland consisting of grey shark that’s hung to dry and allowed to decompose for 4-5 months. The resulting meat has a strong natural smell of ammonia; Anthony Bourdain described kæstur hákarl as “the single worst, most disgusting and terrible tasting thing” he has ever eaten.

Kevin’s been making stuff up for 40 years, 17 of them as a part of the Austin improv community. He teaches at Merlin Works. He runs the AIC Facebook group and nightly theater listings.
