FACT OF THE DAY: On the April 10, 1982 episode of Saturday Night Live, Eddie Murphy appeared with a live lobster (named Larry) and asked viewers to dial one 900 number if they wanted Larry to be boiled live on television, and a second 900 number if they wanted him to be spared. By a vote count of 239,096 to 227,452, Larry was spared.
