FACT OF THE DAY: During the Depression, it became common to reuse cotton flour sacks to make new clothing. Flour companies supported this trend by printing their bags with water-soluble ink, creating sacks with patterned cloth, and sponsoring flour-sack dressmaking competitions.

Kevin’s been making stuff up for 40 years, 17 of them as a part of the Austin improv community. He teaches at Merlin Works. He runs the AIC Facebook group and nightly theater listings.
