FACT OF THE DAY: At the corner of Ziegelstraße and Güntzustraße in Dresden, Germany is a stoplight for cars turning right—but since traffic is allowed to proceed after coming to a stop, the light has never turned green since it was installed in 1987. Due to bureaucratic rules, when the red light bulb is changed, so are the green and yellow bulbs, even though they’ve never been lit.
