FACT OF THE DAY: On February 5, 1958, a B-47 bomber carrying a 3.8 megaton hydrogen bomb collided with an escorting fighter jet, and dropped the bomb into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Georgia before making an emergency landing. The nuclear bomb remains on the ocean floor to this day and has never been found.
