FACT OF THE DAY: In 2016, India’s Supreme Court banned the sale of alcohol within 500 meters of a public highway. Aishwarya Bar in North Paravur, Kerala is only 25 meters from a highway, but it solved the problem by constructing a maze patrons must walk through to reach the front door. The entrance is now a 520-meter walk, making the bar compliant with the law.

Kevin’s been making stuff up for 40 years, 17 of them as a part of the Austin improv community. He teaches at Merlin Works. He runs the AIC Facebook group and nightly theater listings.
