FACT OF THE DAY: In the song “Tom’s Diner,” Suzanne Vega references an “actor who had died while he was drinking.” Vega reports that this was William Holden, which has caused her fans to dub the day after his death—November 13, 1981—as Tom’s Diner Day.

Kevin’s been making stuff up for 40 years, 17 of them as a part of the Austin improv community. He teaches at Merlin Works. He runs the AIC Facebook group and nightly theater listings.
